ESTABLISHMENT OF AKS UNIVERSITY SATNA

 

AKS University Establishment

AKS University, Satna, Madhya Pradesh has been established by Government of Madhya Pradesh by an Act No.44 of 2011 of Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha.


 

UGC RECOGNITION

AKS University Satna  is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India under 2(f) of UGC Act. 

 


APPROVAL BY AICTE

 

AICTE Logo

As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As AKS University is a Bonafide University established by a State Act & duly recognised by UGC, hence it does not require AICTE approval. This standing of law is established by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Bharathidasan University Vs AICTE.

DGMS logoAs per Mines Act 1952, persons holding Degree in Mining Engineering from any recognised University have been exempted from passing Second Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency examination.
